Pokemon Black/White
For those of you who don't know, Pokemon B/W is the 5th Generation of Pokemon. This game takes the 3D attributes found in the other pokemon games, but takes it to a new level by including 3D bridges and complete 3D cities.
It takes place on the region Isshu. It's far away from other regions requiring you to get there by boat or plane.
The battles are also more dynamic - the camera moves around and zooms in and out, the Pokemon are also not just standing there with one picture hopping up and down. Rather, the sprites are constantly animated.
Theres a whole lot more but this website would probably explain it better than me:

So what do you guys think about this gen?

Re: Pokemon Black/White
To be honest guys I am really loving this gen. The new animation may be different but I am liking it so far and the new pokes mentioned so far I am liking(well most of them lol) as well as the new moves and abilities. I personally love the grass and fire starters. whats more epic than a grass snake and fire pig lol.

I agree. This Gen seems to be pretty awesome so far and a Fire Pig and Grass Snake is just plain win :3
Re: Pokemon Black/White
I agree Squirrel( I mean Alex lol). plus a new fire move for the fire pig was announced, hopefully its an awesome physical based fire attack.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
Well, like a lot of people are saying, the new pokemon don't really look like Pokemon and they resemble Digimon a lot
Re: Pokemon Black/White
I have heard that too, but I really don't see the problem that some are having. They still look awesome to me.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
I had the exact same thought when I see the pokemon DP. They eventually grew into me and I started liking a lot.
When the Sinnoh region was announced and pokemon were revealed, almost everyone hated them. Eventually, everyone started liking them. The same is probably going to happen with the Isshu region.

Agreed squirrel. I was not fond of several pokes but grew to love them as I played them. There is always doubt on a new gen in the beginning, but it never disappoints.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
What do you guys think the Isshu region is based on?
So far all my possible places it cam down to be America. Huin City looks much like New York, the new Eagle Pokemon has the colors Red, White, and Blue, and the event to get Victini is called "Liberty Ticket" (Statue of Liberty).

Re: Pokemon Black/White
Yeah. Its probably based off the US.
Does anyone look forward to a specific Pokemon? I'm really looking forward to all the starters, the ground crocodile, and electric zebra, the fire ape the most. I personally love change, and I just think this Gen is so awesome because it has so many different ideas.

not really think of the games as yin and yang and the legendaries as the dots.

Re: Pokemon Black/White
I've posted pictures od what Wally just said:
We have a fawn, the evolution of the Look-Out Pokemon, and a Swan
Team Plasma has been comfirmed:
And here is a new promo:
-The is a new black trainer (finally) named Aloe
-The map of Isshu has 16 locations
-Through the C Gear, a player uses two "Power +" to help a nearby player presumably regain their Pokemon's HP.
- One of the first missions you can receive from the High Link is called "Item Mission" and requires you to hide an Ultra Ball in front of the "Tower of Heaven" on Route 7. You have a 180 second time limit and if someone talks to you, the mission restarts. The prize for the mission is three "Derudama."
-The new swan Pokemon is revealed in clip art for "Pokemon Musical," a new way to use Pokemon that is apparently a replacement of Pokemon Contests. You can dress up Pokemon and then make them dance to music.
-Shikijika revealed in full!
-There is a triple battle mode where you can control the position of the Pokemon in the center of your attacking three Pokemon. You can move it to the left or right instantly, meaning you can constantly switch your Pokemon around during battle. Since your Pokemon on the left cannot attack your opponent's Pokemon on the right and your Pokemon on the left can't attack your opponent's Pokemon on the right, and since the Pokemon in the middle always does the most damage to your opponent's Pokemon, this new mode will obviously lead to more complex strategies and a more dynamic battling experience.
-Pokemon Dream World in action.
-Meeting Pikachu in the Dream World, then capturing it in the game.
-Meeting Pikachu in the Dream World, then capturing it in the game.
4:45 - A new mini-game called "PokeShifter" will allow you to transfer Pokemon from fourth generation games to Black and White using two DS's. In a Pal Park-like manner, you select six Pokemon to transfer over on the DS with your fourth generation game and then encounter them in a grassy field in Black and White on the second DS. You use a sling shot to shoot Poke Balls at your Pokemon as they jump out of grass and back in, and when you hit them, you re-capture them.
-We see spring and fall, meaning the layout of the games may change depending on the season in real life or that there are simply areas that feature season themes.
-New Trainer types.
-Shikijika, the evolution of Minezumi, revealed in a double wild battle!
-There is a new "Battle Subway" where you battle random Trainers.
-Mamanbou, Luvdisc's apparent evolution, can learn a new attack called "Soak.
-Pokabu learns a new move called "Fire Oath.
-Tsutaaja can learn a new move called "Grass Oath.
