Elite Four Applications/Rules

The Elite Four are the TOP 4 trainers of a region (or in this case the forum). Only the best of the best will become one.

Rules for Applicants
-First 4 people who defeat all 8 Gym Leaders will become an Elite Four member. Seeing as youre able to defeat all 8 Gym Leaders, you wont need a test battle.
-You're team will be a Mono-Type team but you are able to use 2 other pokemon of any other type. That means if youre an Electric Type Elite Four member, you can use 4 Eletric Type, 1 Water Type, and 1 Ice Type. You cannot have the same type as another Elite 4 member or Gym Leader.
-We prefer that you dont use ubers in your team.

PM me or Obvious if your fill all the requirement and are interested.

Rules for Elite Four Challengers:
-Must have 8 badges to challenge them
-If youre a Gym Leader or a Frontier Brain, you can challenge the Elite Four as well but must have all the other 7 badges if your a Gym Leader and all 10 if your a Frontier Brain.
-Follow ALL the Elite member's Rules.
-Have to challenge the Elite Four in order.
-If you loose, you have to start all over. If you win, you become the champion.
-Challengers must wait 48 hours before challenging the same Elite member again.
-Must PM me if you won the battle.


Rules for the Elite Four:
-Must be active
-Must respond to Gym Challengers in a period of about 2 days to avoid too much trouble.
-Must PM if challenger wins.
-Elite Four member may be able to switch Pokemon
-Can challenge other Elite Four member.

Champion Rules
- Must be ative.
- Your team can be mixed.
- When another member beats the Elite 4 you and that person must battle for the title of champion. Whoever comes out victorious is the new or same champion.
- To beomce Champion again you must rechallenge the Elite 4 again to battle for the title of Champion.

Can an Elite Four be replaced if someone comes out superior? Or will we have a Champion?

If someone is able to defeat all the Elite Four, they may replace one of the Elite Four.

Well maybe they don't have to be replaced. How about the first 4 are permanent Elite 4 members and the only way they loose their position is if they are not active. Otherwise if you beat all the gyms, Frontier Brains, and Elite 4 you become the champion. When someone else completes this the champion will defend their title and whoever comes out victorious is the new champion or keeps their title. Then whoever lose may have to beat the Elite 4 again to challenge the Champion again.....Lol

This is still a working idea. Me and Obvious are still thinking of everything. Be patient. Everything will be fixed.

OBJECTION: I still think the Elite 4 need a test battle. Remember on the gym leader thread, you said that in the test battle, you won't judge whether we win or loose? And also, you made an announcement pointing out that we're supposedly the "Home of the Not So Obvious Trainers". That announcement prompted a couple people to make their gym more unique and creative. Unfortunately, although they're being creative, creativity is often also gimmicky most of the time. And gimmicks don't tend to win. So, although someone has defeated 8 Gyms, they should have a test battle to test other things like their creativity. A completely OU team does tend to have the ability to wipe out a creative team at times, no matter how skillful the Leader or Challenger is. They are OU for that reason. So if they don't get test battled, the reputation of this forum being creative could very possibly go bye-bye.

Note: I don't really care whether you "overrule" or "sustain" this "objection", I'm just really giving my two cents because in general, I just see it unfair that the Elite Four bypasses the test battle because winning against 8 gyms isn't everything that would need to be taken into consideration.

Does the objection come with an epic fingah poynt?

The thing is, me and Obvious trust you guys. We don't think you guy will bring the cheapest things that can be thought of if you guys become Elite Four. The main point of this forum is to bring creative battlers together, as I mention multiple time before. If you just plan on winning at any way possible with OU's and cheap tactics, you shouldn't even be on this forum.

Although, I do see your point. Some people will try to do that. Me and Obvious will talk it out. (Although at the end, we will choose for test battles probably.)

I actually like long posts It gives me more of a clear idea. It's better than 5/6 worded posts in my opinion.
